ISOLATION causes the mind to look at things differently

Have you ever been at a medical appointment and gotten excited to hear your name called knowing that you inching closer to being next to see the doctor?

We all know this is only the next step and there will be more waiting. Even so, when your name is called you happily follow along  to your cubical. “The doctor will be right with you”, she says with a smile as she exits the room and the door gently closes. NO, I can’t believe it, they did it again! After sitting in isolation in the cubical for what seems like hours the mind grows weary and the eye steps in to find something interesting to ponder. This is a slice of what my eye focused on while I sat in  ISOLATION while waiting to see my doctor.

Thoughts and input welcomed!

It’s Macro Monday to stop over to http://lisaschaos.com/ have some fun viewing the posts – add one of your own!

OH YES!!! I know the feeling,, as I was sitting in a chair, in freezing cold room, for an hour… I felt I had been to college for eye, ear and nose 101~~ I had a book, but you had your camera!!!! I really like this….sassy

I have always wondered why they keep the rooms so cold and then tell you to remove your clothes and put on a paper coverup.

One would think they would make the rooms more interesting for us, lol. One time I sat so long I looked through the drawers, lol.
      Thanks for stopping by!

Yep. I’ve been there. I sent one doctor a bill for two hours at my consulting rate after he/his office did it one too many times. Never had that problem again (of course, I didn’t get paid either, but I wanted to make a point of how their inability to schedule properly affected people)

You captured the Dr’s office perfectly…I always find myself staring blankly at the weirdest things….at least your dr’s office has some intriguing stuff to stare at, very cool!

Hate it when they call you in and you’re right in the middle of a good magazine article…only to sit without it for another long period of time…no wonder my BP is up after stewing about the time wasted waiting.
