Living in a sub-tropical climate you have no idea how impossible I thought it would be to fulfill the WINTER theme. Snow does occasionally fall here about every 20 years and since it snowed 2 years ago… well hopefully you can understand the anxiety. But I digress. It is by a stroke of luck (and dh’s good eye) there before me hanging on display in the back of an antique store was this child’s WINTER sled. Whew, no trip north when the snow begins flying later this year just to get a WINTER photo for this theme.

Great find for the theme, and the wall looks a bit like snow.

The Victorian snowfields have already had an early start to the season, but I’m not keen on the cold so I’ll be looking out for something like this myself.

Nothing like team work in finding images for a theme. I especially like your frame, fits so well with the nostalgia of the old sled.

That old calender looks interesting, too. Perhaps this can be towed behind a jet boat?

I spose this had made its way to your location from some northern location. Must feel lost without snow in its life. Lucky you, not having to endure some northern cold weather to fulfill the winter theme!

That’s a nice looking vintage sled. All the new ones are plastic and not durable at all…..
