A portion of the 1950’s War Bird team demonstration on Saturday was the enactment of a military air bombing. This was the second set of explosions, the first scared me to pieces since I was focused on shooting the planes as they passed overhead. After the initial shock passed I photographed these three fireballs and BLACK smoke.
whoa. That would have scared the hell out of me. I don’t like any type of explosion – even professional fireworks (unless I am inside and far away from them).

I should have looked here before the shades of grey, for this is more of a fright! Those fireballs are ominous, even when simulated.
