Last week’s post was a group of Willet’s along the shore of the Gulf of Mexico

Today’s post is a Black-Necked Stilt wading in fresh water

Approx. 17 inches high and common to find this bird in both fresh and salt water

They were a dead give away to his specialness! First and only encounter I’ve had with this species.
