I thought these huge water lily pads were CONTAINERS for an upcoming art exhibit
until one of the groundskeepers at Bok Tower told me that they were indeed real.
They are a hybrid of an African river water lily and quite real!!

They do look perfect I couldn’t believe they were real until the groundskeeper showed me some that were decaying.

They are really beautiful. I like the way the light makes the sides of the pads look iridescent.
