Everyone enjoys PASTIMES, right? Would it be a stretch to point out that photography is one of my favorite PASTIMES? Some say that photography is not an art. What is art? Form, light, textures. What is photography? Form, light, textures. I believe the photo I have chosen to share of clumps of reeds floating in the water at dusk depicts form, light and texture; I give you art.

This is certainly an argument for ART. The water looks like it is dreaming the sky.

this is magical, I am having a difficult time seeing what is reflection versus what is real, and I think I see Dan’s alligator…super colours super tones, light, who would argue that this photo isn’t art?

Beautiful! If this isn’t art, I don’t know what is! Some things labeled art are much less artsy than most photography. Art vs Craft…it’s an argument that has no conclusion and who cares? Just keep creating whatever satisfies that inner need.
