In many places GARDEN season has come to an end. In Florida it has begun again. Stopping at various garden centers provides inspiration for garden spruce ups. This plant with deep purple foliage and the growers tag read: Flowers for Florida, Persian Shield (Graptophylliun) variety.

Impressive in every way- the plant and the fact that it was shot with an iPod and how this theme picks up colors is a fine combo. Very cool plant name too, though it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.
