The operators of the draw bridge at The Bridge of Lions in St Augustine has many OBLIGATIONS throughout the day. This photographer was giddy when the bridge began to rise as the Victoria III was passing underneath.

Love the view of this great bridge design and the way you have cropped it. It looks so awesomely powerful against the sky. The bridge’s tower (or whatever one calls it) has such an interesting shape and details.

I’m not sure what the towers are called either. Interestingly enough they are the only original parts of the crossing since the bridge went through renovations.
