ARCHITECTURE of Frank Lloyd Wright

The ARCHITECTURE of Frank Lloyd Wright is known world wide. This view is inside the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel standing in the center of the building  looking up at the tower. The tower is known as “the bicycle rack in the sky” and “the bow tie” because of the wrought iron and concrete design.

The Annie Pfeiffer Chapel is the hallmark of the all the Frank Lloyd Wright designs on the campus of Florida Southern College, it took 3 years to build this chapel (1939 – 1941) with students involved in the building process. To this date Sunday services are still held here.

Over the next few days additional posts will appear on my blog with photo views of architecture designs of Frank Lloyd Wright on the campus of Florida Southern College.

The sharp angles and lines are mesmerizing! Wonder what this would look like in a black and white?? 🙂

I will echo “awesome”!!! We’ve been through many of his structures when traveling in the midwest and it’s always an interesting tour. You’ve captured a great view.
