   The background adds interest to the statue. I love the rich colors.

      Asking questions is how we expand our thinking so, no apology needed. I used PSE 9 after viewing a Tutorial (www.photoshopelementsuser.com/extractingpeople-from-a-background) sorry I don’t know how to make a link in this reply so, you will have to copy and paste this address into your browser.

      using pse9 I put the image on the workspace, used the magic extractor (taking many attempts before getting a product I was happy with). Then added a gradient layer and played with the choices, I did actually write it all out so if you need more info let me know,

   Adorable….I love that water bubble too! Nice clarity in the water! I love that gradient background, it really makes this cool fountain stand out!

   Love this shot Patti! Is that the actual background or did you process that in. Either way it really draws my center of attention to the girl. Nice Shot!

      Glad you like this one. The statue is the photo, I extracted the outdoors background and added the copper background using pse9.

   Your processing really is wonderful as is the subject…love that fountain! As you can tell, I’m playing catch-up on blog comments today. You have a wonderful site that I’m really enjoying on this winter day.
