Great shot. I thought it was a floating piece of granite 🙂 but then thought an ancient mammal or something. I have never seen one in person in Florida.
I am so jealous I can’t wait for an opportunity to get out into Moreton Bay and try and do as good with out Dugongs (Australian Sea Cows) Close cousins I think!

I would love to swim with the manatees – is it allowed? Great shot of mama and baby.

Swimming with Manatee is permitted in select areas, water temperature is mid 60 degree F, wetsuits are needed.

Standing on a bridge over the river. Many were coming and going that day, This pair came towards the surface just before going under the bridge.
